lyrics

On this night we dance.
We drink to the moon's pale light. Our glasses held on high.
Feasting upon the confections of our labor.
For the wind from the north does stir once more.
Samhain soon rears it's ugly head.
The leaves, they turn to dust with the sun.
The harvest of crops is now over. The harvest of souls has begun.
Orgies of blood and sacrifice to calm the chill of the fall.
Sugar so sweet as ambrosia peppers the lips of the young.
Mask their faces from the coming darkness.
Celebrate the death of the earth.
Corpses will walk in the light of our fires.
For the spirits of the dead have returned.
And I remember, with sword and cross they came.
Ironclad, they burnt our world to ash. Desecrating holy lands.
Corrupting the minds of the youth with poisoned words from forked tongues.
Preaching manifest destiny.
On this night we dance.
We drink to the moon's pale light. Our glasses held on high.
Feasting upon the confections of our labor.
For the wind from the north does stir once more.
The church will not bury our memories.
They can’t tear this completely from our hearts.
Deep inside we will carry the old ways. Embrace the denial of their Christ.
The divine feminine stripped bare and defiled by the god of Abraham.
Phallic war monger. Desert scum of savage origin.
Stay behind me as the eclipse comes.
Someday they'll get what they deserve.
And behold their father of lies' image.
God of utmost evil.
Shepard of slaves.
Praise the one that ties you down?
Take his "love".
Throw it away.
Their infection shall not rise in me.
Vengeance is ours.
This hollowed eve shall not remain within their grasp.
So dance my children. With her blessing.
Your weeping is as pure as snow!
Stay with me through the cursed sun.
For tonight Samhain returns.
